We are pleased to announce the opening of a new luxury resort ryokan, Gekkoju Yufuin, in Yufuin Onsen, Oita Prefecture.

This is a sister facility of “Gekkoju Kurokawa”, which is operated with the idea of “creating an inn with the most beautiful view of the moon in Japan…”.

■ Kyushu’s first all-inclusive service with a dedicated butler

Guests staying at the hotel will be assigned a dedicated butler to support them in making their trip comfortable and creating memories even before their stay. During your stay, you will receive Swiss Perfection spa treatment services in your room, a first for Kyushu. It’s as if the spa room has been transported to your room, allowing you to receive authentic treatments without leaving the comfort of your own room.

We also offer a variety of other activities, including rickshaw transfer services and romantic in-room private dinners.

■Dinner / Breakfast

The meal will be prepared by our executive chef, Keisuke Abe.

He has trained in the world of Japanese cuisine and has served as the head chef at Yufuin Bettei ITSUKI for many years.

He will use this experience to carve out new history in Yufuin, the place where he was born and raised.

Breakfast and dessert are prepared by Takashi Seto, who has trained in French cuisine at numerous Michelin-star hotel restaurants, and will provide a gentle American breakfast to wake you up.

Each guest room is named after a traditional Japanese color, and these attractive colors are woven into the interior to warmly welcome visitors.

All five rooms are of the all-suite type. The pool-like hot spring is placed directly in the living room, allowing guests to enjoy to their heart’s content the hot spring water of Yufuin, which is rich in metasilicicic acid and is known as the hot water of beauty.

There is also an in-house sauna, providing the ultimate retreat experience.

All guest rooms are luxuriously designed with an area of ​​over 130㎡, and the interiors feature Cassina furniture, a favorite of celebrities around the world, creating a special resort atmosphere.
